What would you recommend, then? I've been running a Supra V.32bis
(Rockwell chipset) here for over a year and haven't had the problems
you describe.
(Supra alone has hold about 500K modems with this chipset, and I'd
guess that Zoom, Practical Peripherals, and other companies have sold
a fair amount as well...buggy hardware wouldn't sell so quickly.)
