Panasonic,Grappler,Print Shop==PROBLEM

For about the last 3-4 years, I've had this compatibility problem using Print Shop on my Apple IIgs (ROM Ver 01).

At the time, I didn't think that paying $400+ for an Imagewriter II was a smart idea, so I decided to buy a Panasonic KXP-1080i and use the Orange Micro
Grappler C/MAC/GS converter to make the printer look like an Imagewriter II.

However, many times when we try to print something with print shop (not the
IIgs version, the 1990 ProDOS v1.8 version), it prints WAY TOO BIG! The
truly wierd part about it is that it's not consistent. Sometimes it happens
and sometimes it doesn't. We try re-starting the printer in NLQ or Comp mode
and sometimes this works. We haven't found a consistent way to make it print graphics normal size.

Does anybody have an idea as to why this is happening? Is it a bug in Print
Shop? I tried to reconfigure both the printer and the Grappler to emulate
an IBM Proprinter but that didn't work. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Jim Lawton
