I do this a much simpler way (only cost $14 extra, no less...)

COM2 -=> DB25 to Mini8F converter with built in null modem and wired to do the
GS's fake HWHSK (that's the $14 part) -=> GS to IWII cable

if anyone really cares.  I got the DB25 to Mini8F from CablePro in cleveland
(I just told 'em what I wanted, and they made it) and I could probably still
find their # if anyone wants it...

BTW> I use the same connector w/ my GS-=> HWHSK modem and GS -=> HP48 cables
