Greg, if you don't know what to tell him, then why waste the bandwidth?
:(

Let's try some simple mistakes people make when using binscii'd files:

1. Did you remove the header in each of the files? Binscii will not
properly use a binscii'd file if it has stuff like:

   Path: NewsWatcher!user
   From: mark@trillian.jsc.nasa.gov (Mark Manning)
   Newsgroups: comp.sys.apple2

in it. If they are there - remove them with a text editor.

2. Binscii is confusing sometimes. I, myself, have misread the prompts
and put things in backwards. Be sure you aren't putting the wrong
information into each of the prompts.

3. Always give full pathnames for where the files are. Binscii is not
the most brilliant program when it comes to looking for files. You
may think it will look for a file in the current directory and it
may think it should look for them in /&#^%^#.

4. Try binscii'ing a file TO binscii format and then back again. If
it will go one way and not the other, then get a new copy of binscii
and try it again. It may be that you have downloaded a bad copy
somehow. Besides, it will give you a fresh start.

I hope this helps. :)
