There is a department/division (Second Look Computing, or somesuch title) that
does do CD-mastering on campus for basically the cost of a blank media ($40-
50).  So it is possible.  But how many II users have a CD-drive?  Could we
make a yearly CD, economically?  Would we have to run another 6 month 
contribution drive to get enough $$$ to do a run of xxx CD's?

BTW, probably because of the long period before contributions were deposited,
about $80 of the $970 collected did not clear the bank.  $890 is close, but
doesn't quite make the $948 I had been quoted on a drive.  Steve Chiang is
checking to see if he can find a 1Gig drive for a lower price.  But I think
we'll have a drive soon.
