Hi Steve. How about a posting to csa2 letting us know the status of
 the apple II archive/disk drive purchase? At least, for me personally, have
 you cashed the check? It must be getting quite dated by now which may make
 certain banks uncomfortable with honoring them.

Hi Jeff!  Good idea, it is time I post.  We collected $970 in checks which
were deposited a couple weeks ago to Steve Chiang's account.  I'm hoping
most will clear OK :-)  Steve has (or will, I haven't heard yet) order the
drive and have it shipped to me.  I haven't received it yet, so he probably
hasn't ordered it yet.  I suggested ordering from Chantha Clueung, C & C
Products, San Diego, since he is frequently on csa2, and his offer of $948
for a 1 Gig Seagate SCSI drive is as good as I've seen.

When the drive is really, really here (at last), I'll post a note acknowledg-
ing the contributors too.  I'm sorry for all the delay.  Six months is a
long time to wait, but ... lets hope it was worth it!
