I -do- know that UUCP-G is being worked on for Metal. I had some of it
done, but sold my NeXT, so testing it became really hard. I'm not 
sure how far Greg Boehlein has got with it, though.

But with the UUCP-G protocol, Metal (ala Futurevision) would become 
an EASY method to do all of what whomever is asking about, and you
could use a standard uucp account to do it.
