Versa card

Does anyone know anything about a parallet - serial and clock
card, called the versa card? I have two of them and cant get
either to work in an apple IIe. I have a manual and I am pretty
sure all the switches are set correctly, but it soesn't work.
There are several jumper posts on the card, but the manual
doesn't refer to them.
