- Summary: What low cost networks exist?
My kid's elementary school has a class with about two dozen Apple//e
systems. Each student has to boot from individual floppies and only
a few have printers attached.
What network alternatives are available for this environment? They
need something low cost and it need not be high performance as most
anything would be a step up from floppies.
They would want printer and file sharing. An Apple//e, Mac, or IBM
style PC could be made available as a server.
Any suggestions?
