Sure I can. When Randy Brandt first started working on the Quadriga update
(Randy says it will always be Quadriga to him, just like AW 3.0 will always
be Spike to him), the odds of Claris letting another company publish AW was
pretty small. Once a major part of the project was completed, that, in a
sense, was used as a bargaining chip, and as we now know, Claris "sold"
(I'm not sure what other word to use) AW to QC, and QC is now the
publisher.
So, the rules of the game were changed. And, although I haven't talked to
anyone at QC about it, I bet they were as surprised as the rest of us.
In any case, I have AW4.0 pre-ordered, and I can't wait!
