I have an IBM AT which I use to dial in to an account with internet
access. I have three friends with apple2's who would really like to
start BBS-ing, Interneting, etc., but they have no communications
software. We have access to modems, tho....
I wanted to see if I could get 'em started for free. I've downloaded an
appleII emulator onto my PC, but I'm not sure I can write a ProDos disk
with it (much less format one). I've also downloaded a bunch of
publically ftp-able commware for apple onto my PC, but again, I don't know
how to write a ProDos disk. Of course, I don't know shit about apple2.
I've read the FAQ's for alt.emulators.ibmpc.apple2 and comp.sys.apple2,
but it they don't seem to indicate how I can do this (for free).
Can anyone tell me how I can get my apple2 friends WIRED? I have a 5 1/4
drive - they have 5 1/4" DD's - this should be possible....
Please don't assume I know alot about apples -
Thanks!
