You can hook up almost any printer to a IIc. The easiest would be serial
printers that use an RS-232 interface. You can even hook up parallel
printers with a converter (approx. $70). The problem is going to be
finding software that will know how to talk to your printer. AW 1.1 is
kind of old, but I think it still has the ability to set up custom
printers. For this you would need the printer manual to find out all the
technical gibberish to feed to AppleWorks.
