Saving every net posting that might prove to be interested/needed in
the future is more than I'm willing to do since so many are inaccurate,
incomplete, or not something I'm interested in. EXCEPT for any posting
by Dave or Matt. Those two get saved to a huge ASCII file that I keep
for future reference.

With something like SSII I have a list of current relevant
problems/discussions that I can look at when I finally decide to go to
6.0.1 (probably in the Christmas timeframe), upgrade ProTerm 3.0
(arrived last week), etc., for problem areas and their solution. This
is exactly how I used the index to my back issues of A2~Central.

The only better solution would for the text to be in ASCII file format
so I could use FastData Pro to look for keywords, etc.

Question to Joe Kohn: Has their been thought/actions to index SSII and
make the index available on the net (SSII faq?), GEnie, AOL, etc.? If
so, what would be the availability schedule? I believe each issue is too
much and yearly is too little. Every three issues would be nice and
since you are on an every two month publishing schedule for the present
that would translate to every six months.

I'd vote for an AppleWorks Classic DB as the source with ASCII also
available. That is how I did the Computist DB and I never had any
complaints since both those with and without AppleWorks had access.
