Follow up on the HD thing:
I called QC again to report on the low-level (it hadn't helped), and the
new rep said it sounded like it wasn't terminated. Turns out... it wasn't!
Had to splurge for a terminator, but it's up and running my terminal at
this moment! Thanks to QC and to all who felt like helping! (bowing)
