At least playing AFT on the GS is faster than on the IIe.

SkyFox is/was a game from Electronic Arts, very old. You'd probably
only find it at a flea market or somewhere. You play a super fighter
with VTOL capability and shoot everything that moves with your lasers
and guided and heat-seeker missiles. All out of a cockpit view. Since
vector graphics were too processor-intensive on a IIe, there were fully-
drawn planes and tanks and stuff that only had about 5 positions or so.
But the game was REAL fast, too fast on the higher levels. Even has one
of the first easter eggs (we called them secret keys back then), hit
ctrl-G while at the mapping computer and a space invaders game popped up.

A Mockingboard was a 4voice sound card. Very well supported by older games.
I don't think the AE Sonic Blaster will give you Mckingboard sound on
the GS, but you can get a Phasor card from AE that will. And the
Phasor's got enough power that it drives 2 2'x3' speakers and 2 1'x2' speakers
, giving a nice pseudo-surround sound effect. Sitting in my Franklin1000
it makes a nice amplifier for my GS.
