The point is that you came into our friendly little newsgroup and left a
message that was incendiary. We've been getting along here quite well, and
your message was baiting, it was an inherent put-down, it was not written
intelligently, and its sole purpose was to question the intelligence of the
readers of this newsgroup.

You did not, at first, say that you were a former Apple II owner, and you
didn't say anything else about why you felt the Apple II was old and in the
way. You came in here, left flame bait, and ended up sounding like a
teenager going "my computer is better than yours".

If you feel so insecure about yourself that you have to try to make others
feel bad, then there are places on the net for you to do that. Trying
visiting alt.flames.

The point being is that we like our Apple II's, we don;t care what you
think, and your behavior was disruptive to this newsgroup. And, you wonder
why people took your flame bait?
