Re: Apple II emlation card & Ed.sfw.

While on the subject of the II emulation card, I have noticed that it
creates a NON (?) file on the disk (maybe called "desktop"?). At any
rate, my ques is: how can I DELETE the dang thing off the disk, now
that I'm back on my humble IIc+ (hurrah!) and don't need it taking up
disk space? Any utility I've tried sez something like "wrong" file
type & can't deal w/it.
any help is appreciated.
Yes, the mac creates a desktop file on proDOS disks. It is where the
finder puts all his stuff. the problem is that this file has a
resource fork, and ProDOS 8 doesn't handle ressource forks. i don't
know how you can remove this file. so here are the new questions I'm
asking:
- can a FORKED FILE be REMOVED under ProDOS 8 ?
- can the DATA FORK of a FORKED FILE be READ under ProDOS 8 ? (this
is because I copy mac files on prodos disks, and the mac puts an
almost empty resource fork, butI would like to be able to read the
data fork on the apple II)
