Well, due to a complaint from one of Seven Hills distributors, the offer
that Seven Hills extended to subscribers of Shareware Solutions II (50% off
on most of their software) is going to expire on 9/30/93.

The distributor was upset that SSII subscribers were able to pick up Seven
Hills software for wholesale prices, and thereby under cutting the
distributor.

But, have no fear. Lots of other companies are going to make special offers
to SSII subscribers in Issue #2. There will be deals on hard drives,
desktop publishing templates, a way cool IIGS screen blanker, a way cool
set of amazing IIGS CDA utilities, and the best hard drive utility
available for either IIe/IIc or IIGS.

I am not involved in these deals at all, except to set them up, and make
not a penny from them. I've even refused accepting any money from the
developers. I came up with my "Such a Deal" concept, and feel that everyone
will benefit. The companies will get free advertising, the readers will get
great deals, and I will get to tell the Apple II world that Shareware
Solutions II is an indispensible resource for any Apple II owner.

One of the deals offered in Issue #1 was so good, I gave them my credit
card number after we agreed on the price that subscribers would pay. I'm
not just the publisher of SSII, I'm a subscriber too.

But, you have to subscribe to learn *exactly* what the deals are, and to
take advantage of them. Such A Deal!
