Oh, uh. I succumbed to the flame bait. Sorry.

With school starting again, maybe we should all agree to totally ignore
these types of messages. Some ignoramus who thinks that Beavis and Butt Head
are high culture is bound to come by here every few days and insult us. I'm
going to try to just ignore those idiotic messages (I said try), and maybe
all of us should, as I'd really hate to see the calm and peace we've had all
summer be shattered.

Or, maybe, responses to idiotic postings should just be confined to email.

After all, we as a group can decide what kind of netiquette we want to
adopt, and I for one don't especially want to see flame wars return on a
daily basis.
