Problem returning to Finder...

Hi...
	Does GS/OS load all the TIF and PIF and all the other system.setup
files if you shift boot?  I reinstalled a couple of old DAs/etc, and now,
whenever I quit a program to go back to Finder, it just hangs quietly, after
first asking me about my phantom drive (a couple of posts back... ;-)).  I have
no problems going from program to program via "Quit.To" CDA, but when I go back
to Finder... pfft...  This happens even if I shift boot.
	If you'll have any ideas, please let me know (I am using System 6.0.1,
from ftp.apple.com, if that's any help).  Thanx.  Ciao.
