Re: Anybody heard of LifeSaver?

The sales department at Follett Software tells me that the latest version
of LifeSaver is 2.04, but the only number that I can find on the disk or the
documentation is "2.0".

FSC still has 31 copies in stock, and when they're gone, they're gone: they
won't be making any more copies. The product number is 91520A, and the
price is an outrageous $35.00 -- but remember, FSC is selling to a vertical
market, usually educational institutions, and they don't balk at those
prices. :)

Please note that LifeSaver only works on 5.25" disks, and can't recover data
from 3.5s. Also, it can't be run on a IIgs, for some unknown reason; booting
the disk causes the IIgs to either hang or crash.
