1/3 heightSCSI II HD's on ROM1 GS

GUday All,

Further to my postings about trouble with using 1/3 height
SCSI 2 drives on a ROM1 GS with the HS SCSI card.
I recently purchased a 1/3 height, SCSI II seagate HD on the
understanding that I could get my money back if it didnUt
work.

Well IUm happy to report that I am able to low-level format
using Sys 6.01 Advanced Disk Utility, IUm able to format either
HFS or ProDos, and IUm able to partition--no problems at all.

I donUt know whether I was just unlucky when I tried the
1/3 height SCSI II conner drive and tried a dud, but the seagate
appears fine.

Thought other GSUs would like to know.
