None of those programs support oversized APF graphics. They all
stick to the brain-dead 64K limit on the size of raw data. That's why
you couldn't create a picture larger than 320x400 in 16 colours in older
software. I never understood who imposed that arbritrary limit and why.
Probably has something to do with the 64K banks of memory on the GS, but
that's not much of an obstacle.
Anyhow, I've downloaded a few more GIF's which should make excellent
conversions which I will upload, well, whenever I get my current backlog
of uploads out of the way first. ;-)
