unknown IDS card

I just got 4 IDS cards which I have no docs for and don't know the purpose
or function of the card.  They have a battery holder for a AA battery on the
end, and a 6821 PIA chip along with a 2708 EPROM labeled AIDS 1.1.  I suspect
that it is a clock card, but don't know.  These cards are about 10 years old.
Can anyone help me find docs or software to use this card?  I understand that
they probably won't work with ProDos and so am in the process of disassembling
the EPROM code to try to figure out what it does the hard way.
