The article may have been posted to the defunct comp.sys.apple group.
Some sites automatically translate such articles to comp.sys.apple2 and
send them out like that.

Comp.sys.apple2 is still an acceptable place to post articles, as a
comp.sys.apple2.misc was not created to take its place.  Comp.sys.apple
however is defunct, and should be aliased to comp.sys.apple2 and
removed.
