Fried Apple?!

Anyone care to help me out? My GS appears to be non-functional.

Some error codes I've seen recently:

0381
0681
0682

And from the self test:

0B030000 (this should be caused by my Zip)
0C000005

In my system I have:

slot 3: Zip GSX (9/32)
slot 7: RAMFast (v2.00j)
slot RAM: Chinook RAM4000 (4 megs)

I have not pulled the Zip yet, because I was hoping this was a heat
problem (and I didn't feel like playing with bent pins).

I pulled the ram card and the RAMFast, and put them back in, and the
system worked (two nights ago). The next morning - no good.

Doesn't the self test stop as soon as it fails? Doesn't that mean
that sometimes the Zip is NOT causing the quarter second interrupt to
fail (0B030000)? Shouldn't this always fail?

When I take the ram card and the RAMFast out, I can boot games like
Loderunner (the GS version that fits on a 3.5 and loads fast). If I
put the ram card back in, I see all the memory in the control panel.

I'm going to take everything apart tonight, but I wanted some advance
opinions. It's that Zip, and the failed oscillator test (0C00005)
that really bother me....
