I can verify that the Select 310 does network.  It has serial (DIN) and
parallel connectors and is Ethernet compatible.  It also prints at 6ppm
so if I'm not mistaken it's faster than the NTR.  Resolution is still at
300dpi, however, unlike the new 600 series.  In our student price lists
for the Macintosh equipment, the 310 is actually listed lower than the 
NTR.  Obviously there is probably a reason for this but I'm not aware
of it.

After seeing how postscript printers work... I'm a believer.  My next
printer WILL have postscript, preferably with a RISC processor.  :)
