Ahh, but, Edward, if you think back, you put together the GEM CD long before
GS/OS appeared.

Trust me on this. I put together the 10 disk set of Mean 18 courses for Big
Red Computer Club. I wanted them to appear alphabetically, so used the
Finder to copy courses from one disk to another. That was a while ago, so I
don't remember all the details, except that M18 expects its courses to be a
certain length, and if they are not the exact length that it expects, they
will not run. If you copy M18 course disks with the GS/OS Finder, the files
will be sparsed, and will no longer work correctly.

So, I'm sure the GEM M18 courses work just fine, as System 3.1 (or whatever)
didn;t sparse files. GS/OS does. Trust me on this. I spent 2-3 days going
crazy on it, before I finally dug out Copy II+ to copy them from disk to
disk.
