Both 6.0 and 6.0.1 should work fine from an Apple HD SC 20.

History: In the few months right before we shipped 6.0, we introduced a
bug that showed up with HD SC 20s, seeded it to some developers who
caught the problem at about the same time we caught it internally, and
then FIXED the problem before shipping 6.0.

No problem reports have reached me concerning 6.0 and HD SC 20 drives.
