It seems my memory needed a little refresh, so I dug out the original article
(from January 1990). The author lists the following additional options for his
card (the NC, as compared to the FPE):
- a LED as activity monitor
- capable of using 68881 as well as 882 at any clock rate (even 882 @ 33 MHz)
- the gate array used will work at up to 100 MHz
- gate array and FPU can work synchronously and asynchronously
- Matthias Kapffer
