5.25 on a Macwhatever

I had heard someone mention that a 5.25 drive could be hooked to a Mac and
ProDOS files could be moved using the Apple File Exchange.  Well, we tried it
with no luck so if someone could explain how this was done with some detail
maybe we could get it to work. BTW we tried an SE, SE/30, IIsi, and Centris610
with no luck.
