As you mentioned, there is a program called DOS Master that will do
what you want. It will mark off an area of your ProDOS volume as used, which
is being used as a pseudo-DOS 3.3 volume. Included are programs copy files
from your DOS 3.3 disks to the "DOS 3.3" volume on your hard drive..
Note that this will only work for programs that don't assume they're in slot 6,
drive 1.. This is written by Glen Bredon, who's also the author of ProSEL.
Another more recent program to put DOS 3.3 programs on your hard drive,
in a different method, is a program called DOS 3.3 Launcher. It will convert
file-based DOS 3.3 programs, and many full-disk programs (e.g. games with their
own OS that aren't actually DOS 3.3) into files on your hard disk.
Then you can run them off of the ProDOS disk.. This method doesn't
require you to permanently set-aside a certain amount of your disk to DOS 3.3.
I don't know if this is available to //e users, but GS users can even return
back to ProDOS from the DOS 3.3 programs (even programs without a quit option
at all, which unfortunately is most DOS 3.3 programs or old games).
