Well last fall I took my Mac Classic and modem through airport security
and asked them not to x-ray it and they told me that I had to prove it
was actually a computer (instead of a bomb) by turning it on, which I did
after which they let me through.
 
Hmm, looking at what I just wrote, I wonder what they would do if my Mac
crashed and displayed the bomb icon...
