Quit-To works from both GS/OS and P8. If you compressed it with HP, and then
tried to update the list from P8, it would have written uncompressed data
into a file that was supposed to have compressed data in it. That would
confuse the heck out of HP. You could probably recover it by changing the
filetype back to CFG.
I'll try it later on and see if it does in fact work this way.
