That's why I didn't run into the problem yet. My commonly used
Truetypes all have their respective 10- and 12-point bitmaps saved on
disk already. I tried New Century Schoolbook (which doesn't have a
bitmap on disk) and it hung the system. BTW, why did you have to go
back to System 6.0 to make those 1-point fonts? I just made a bunch of
them from System 6.01...
Related question: Is there a utility that can generate batches of
bitmaps from a Truetype? I would like to have 10, 12, 25 and 30-point
bitmaps of all my installed Truetypes (my most commonly used screen and
printer sizes). Rather than doing it by hand, I would like a utility
which takes batch input and automatically creates all the bitmaps I want.
