Shouldn't this be in rec.pets.dinosaurs? :-)

Anyways, I assumed the cross-wires were non-conductive, just to keep
smart lizards from dropping trees on the fence, spreading the wires apart,
so they could slip out the gaps.

More along the lines of this group, I noticed that the -point-and-shoot
type of GUI interface made a collosal bitch out of the task of saying
"I wan't the doors in this building locked". Look what a command line
interface (say, a IIe instead of a "Unix" system (*that* was *unix*?!?!))
would have done for Dr. Hammond. . . .

GUI: Lex grabs the mouse and pans the screen to start searching for the
right building. She pushes it forward and maeneuvers the viewpoint to
approach the group of buildings. Eventually she finds the right one,
positions the cursor on it, and clicks (or double clicks, no I remember
only one click). (Gad, if she double clicked she would have unlocked the
door again, right?)

Command Line (perhaps ProDOS): ] BRUN SECURITY CONTROL CENTER
(Takes no time to type in).

Spielberg, you listening. Tim Burton uses IIe's in Batman, and that's
spawning more two more sequels already! (batman3 and a catwoman movie)
