You're not alone. I found this problem also.  It seems that the BASIC.System
included with 6.0.1 is version 1.5 whereas the version on 6.0 is 1.4.  At
least that's what mine said.  Right not I'm using BASIC.System 1.4 from the
6.0 disk.  I got the same errors that you mentioned above.  I also tried 
running it from ProSel 8 and still the same.  I tried it with and without
BASIC programs and nada...  BTW: are there ANY advantages to using v1.5?
