Hello!

	I finally got my hard drive fixed! I have no idea what was wrong
exactly, but I had a friend who had a RamFast Card. He used the software
with that card to format and partition the drive (during this time it was
trashing half his system). We also pulled the scsi terminator. All of
a sudden, the drive started responding properly. 

	After slapping on 6.0.1, we got the drive to work correctly,
and it hasn't had any problems... (yet).

	Now what exactly was wrong with it? I have no clue... I would guess
a light incompatibility problem between the older system software and
the drive. The drive had an apple label that said 40SC.

	BTW... for those who thought it was my DMA, I have an Apple
ram Card. I never got around to turning DMA off, but it works now!

P.S. For those who seem to have a similar problem... try 6.0.1, or try another
type of software utilities. The RamFast utilities seem to like the drive
better.
