Yup.  You'll lose chars down to 1200 baud unless you can use SP's hardware
handshaking feature (I can't).

I suggest you use DeskTracker and play SoundSmith tunes instead...DT 1.43
(Rich'll release it eventually) tests out up to 9600 baud without HWHS, and
using GNO 1.1 and CopyCat can run up to 19200 baud.
