PCT setup problems

I can't seem to get my PCT to start up.  When the AEPC.SYSTEM program is run,
the PC Transporter splash screen displays briefly (it even changes to the IBM
display font), and I can sometimes get it to even do the BIOS memory test, but
then it just goes to a blank screen.  According to the manual, the next thing
I should see is an "Automatic Configuration in progress..." message, but it
never comes up.  The shift-capslock-capslock sequence won't bring up the control
panel, although it does turn on and off the capslock LED on my keyboard the
first time it's done.  I have been able to successfully run the PCT memory test
application (PCTRAM.SYSTEM), however.  I'm running version 2.0.2, with the PCT
in slot 6, two FDHDs in slot 5, and SCSI hard drive in slot 7.  I've tried it
with a dual 5.25" TransDrive connected to the PCT with the same result.  What
gives?  Any suggestions?
