Your problem may well be coincidental. "Core dump" messages in unix means that
the system hit a fatal error and purged the offending program. This kind of
error is EXTREMELY difficult to figure out. It's a generic error message. You
could be using a bad copy of the program or it ran into something in the mail
file it didn't expect It should be able to handle lots of messages -- 177 is
not its limit. OTOH, that could be a limit (site-imposed), check with your 
sys admin. to be sure.  :)
