Attempting to BSC a file

I want to post a couple of files to comp.binaries.apple2, but before I 
do I need some help from someone (email will be fine) to get things
wrapped properly.

What I have is two .SHK files which are wrapped in Binary II (so they
are really .BXY files.

I am using Unix and I have bsc and have read the man page.  But what
I need to know is what -t type to use when I create the BinSCII files
as well as how many segments per file to create.

Please let me know ASAP - I want to get this stuff posted this weekend.
