Can you still crash it in the buffer with a "shift-boot" (bare system)?
Hmmm, it may be that my Zip lets the GS keep up with my fast typing. It
might also have to do with what DAs and Inits you have installed and like
I said how MUCH free "continuous RAM block" you have. AWGS says I have
648k free... if you have a ram disk, lotsa goodies and such it will not
help. I have 3.25 megs... getting another 2megs soon cause I like having
an 800k ramdisk handy. As Matt pointed out to me, AWGS should gracefully
exit and let you recover but... I'm just trying to let you know that
under "ideal" circumstances AWGS is a very good application. I also have
a harddrive which means I don't have to worry about disk-swapping which
was also another thing that AWGS didn't handle very well.

This can definetly be cured with an accelerator. With my Zip 8/16 I can
scroll faster than a IIci with MS Word.

That much is agreed... I'm was VERY disappointed to see Claris drop it.
I remember the 1.1 upgrade and how much better it was than 1.0...
I can only dream about what 1.2 would have been like.
