I believe that the mac must be running Appleshare server software in order to
boot a Apple II from it.  Personal file-sharing won't do it.

I boot my GS from an Appleshare 3.0 server.  Believe me, it is not something
you want to do unless neccessary.  It is slow, and some p8 programs do not
work.  On the other hand, no macs can boot from a server - so you can impress
the mac users!
