Actually, a lifetime warranty is variable....what if you suddenly kick the
bucket tomorrow? Your warranty goes up then and there! :)
Seriously, up until recently, I've been really bad about not sending in
warranty cards, as are several hundred or so other IIgs users I've spoken with.
I have gotten better, though, and am starting to send them out when I purchase
something. (I don't remember ever sending out the Apple IIgs warranty info,
either...but back then it was for only 90 days...)
