Applied Engineering's latest (last?) CP/AM version was 5.1, I think (That's
what's in the 1989 catalog I have from AE anyway)

It included support for 3.5" disks and hard disks. (Only mentions Sider)

AE's CP/AM will run on any MicroSoft SoftCard or SoftCard workalike CP/M
card (like AE's Z80+, Z80c, Z-RAM Ultra3).
