the imagewriterII is serial only, I've got one here hooked up to a PC
(like it was unwanted by our Mac users so why not put it to work). Hooking
it up is simply a matter of making up the correct cable (you can use a 
simple three wire cable and xon/xoff handshaking, but we use proper hardware
flow control). As for software drivers ... one CAD package we use has a 
Citoh driver, this works fine with the ImageWriterII (which is based on 
Citoh parts), with a bit of luck the Citoh8510 driver in windows should
work as well (haven't had a need to test it yet)
