Higher DPI color?

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with using any other color
capable printers with a IIgs (other than the Imagewriter II)?   I have
Independence and it supports various DeskJet printers, etc. but doesn't
seem to handle color (i.e. DeskJet 500c/550c).  I would really like to get
300 dpi output (or in that arena anyhow, or even better!)

Any help, suggestions are appreciated!   Thanks!
