C programs use GetStdRefNum to find out which fds to use for stdio. Failing
that, they try to open their own copy of 10/, 11/ and 12/. Under ORCA 1.x or
GNO these are not likely to be set. Under ORCA 2.0, they are supposed to be
but often aren't. Under ORCA 2.0.1, they are, I assume (I haven't checked).
