Sounds like a ram problem to me, i.e. not enough of it.  2.25 megs
isn't really enough if you're a desktop accesory/f-ext hog..:)

Recap: sounds like you're running out of memory..mine used to do that
back when I had 1.25 megs..i havent seen a recurrence since i upgraded
to 4.
